Ted Farace, President & Treasurer
In 1964, Mr. Farace became a member of the New York City Police Department and in 1969 was promoted from Police Officer to Detective 3rd grade. His last assignment was with the NYPD/FBI Joint Bank Robbery Task Force. He was promoted again to second grade Detective and retired honorably in August 1987 after 23 years of service.
After his retirement in 1987, he immediately joined the Security Department of the investment bank, JP Morgan as the Director of Global Corporate Security. Mr. Farace was promoted to Managing Director in 1989. Mr. Farace retired in 2001 and relocate to Las Vegas.
After the attack on our country on September 11, 2001, Mr. Farace formed a non-for-profit all former law enforcement member organization, funded by the State of Nevada, Department of Public Safety, The Volunteer Homeland Reserve Unit (VHRU). Its mission, was to support local law enforcement agencies in southern Nevada. The organization was closed in 2017, due to members unable to continue to volunteer (www.vhru.com ).
In 2005, Mr. Farace formed Elite Security Specialists, LLC. and most recently in May 2018, founded the first Security Guard Training Academy in the State of Nevada, which was licensed by the Commission on Postsecondary Education, the "Nevada Security Guard Training Academy". d/b/a Nevada Security Consultants (www.nsgta.com)
In 2022, after 18 years, Mr. Farace sold his security company to now focus on training and consulting work. He founded the Nevada Security Consultants in early 2023, which is license by the Private Investigators’ Licensing Board, license # 4089
In August of 2023 he founded the “Flags for Nevada”, a Nevada nonprofit Corporation to offer American Flags for the homeowners in his community, Siena. |
